Activating Divine Healing

ACTIVATING DIVINE HEALING

We express our gratitude to you, Father, as we offer you our praise and glory. We humbly request your divine presence to encompass everyone who is part of this service, whether physically present in this room or joining us online. As we share your teachings and preach your word, we implore you to let your power flow through your message. May this place be filled with healing, restoration, and redemption. We pray for your word to be confirmed with miraculous signs, bringing glory to your name. Our eternal Father, we acknowledge your greatness and thank you for your blessings.

In the name of Jesus, we celebrate your goodness and grace. Hallelujah! We invite everyone to join us in praising God for his wonders. We recall the testimony shared by Brother Bankole earlier in the service. Bankole, if you are still present, we would like to hear from you once more. Please come forward and share your experience with us. Your testimony is a testament to the power of faith and healing. Bankole, please take the microphone and tell us what transpired in your life.

Bankole recounts a morning when he experienced a sudden panic attack that prevented him from going to work. Despite managing to go to work, he struggled to breathe and felt his heart racing. After seeking medical attention, he was diagnosed with left ventricular hypertrophy. Following the doctor’s advice to avoid strenuous activities, Bankole underwent further tests. It was during a moment of despair that he came across our church on Instagram. This encounter marked a turning point in his journey towards healing and recovery.

I expressed my determination to visit the place, and indeed, I made my way there on that particular Sunday with a strong faith in God. I was hopeful that I wouldn’t have to deplete my savings on medical expenses or undergo multiple tests. However, the situation took a turn when they informed me about the need for a test that cost a staggering 80 thousand. This sudden development began to weigh heavily on me, and I felt a sense of unease and difficulty in breathing. The fear of death loomed over me, especially considering the loss of my sister to a heart condition. Despite my apprehensions, I chose not to burden my parents with my concerns and instead relied solely on God for support, as I was financially incapable of handling the mounting medical bills.

During my visit, I leaned on my faith in God, seeking solace and strength through prayer. As I sat there, I fervently called upon God and continued to pray, hoping for a positive outcome. When the time came for me to receive a healing touch, I prayed even more, seeking reassurance and comfort. The minister’s consistent prayers and the act of laying hands on me instilled a sense of confidence and peace within me. I even reached out to another individual, Miss Adams, and expressed my desire to tap into her healing anointing. I left the church with a firm resolve to return and share my testimony, as I strongly believed that God would work a miracle in my life.

True to my conviction, I revisited the church to give my testimony, having rehearsed it since the previous Sunday. I held onto my unwavering faith in God, believing that He would bring about a positive outcome. The following Monday, I went to the hospital, only to find out that it was a public holiday. Undeterred, I returned the next day for the ECO test, feeling anxious and fearful about the potential results. Despite my apprehensions, I maintained my belief that God would intervene and bring about healing.

After completing the test, the medical professional informed me that my heart was in good condition and there were no issues to be concerned about. I expressed my doubts, mentioning that I experienced difficulty breathing when walking. However, they reassured me by explaining the results in detail, emphasizing that everything appeared normal. Despite my initial skepticism, I was relieved to hear that there was nothing wrong with my heart. It felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

. Following the consultation with the doctor, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the positive outcome. The doctor confirmed that based on the test results, I was indeed fine and there was no cause for alarm. I couldn’t help but reflect on the experience and the sense of relief that washed over me. It was a moment of gratitude and realization that sometimes our worries are unfounded, and things turn out better than we anticipate.

As I recounted the events to my father, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and gratitude for the healing I had received. Despite the doubts and negative thoughts that crept in, I held onto my faith and trusted in the process. I was reminded of the power of faith and the importance of acknowledging the blessings we receive. It was a humbling experience that reinforced my belief in the divine intervention that had taken place. I made a conscious decision to share my testimony in church, expressing my gratitude and acknowledging the role of faith in my journey towards healing.

I made the decision to revisit that testimony once more because I am aware that there are individuals who were not present during the service when the testimony was shared. It was during the first service, after we had prayed and laid hands on people. I took the opportunity to remind everyone that even if they did not feel anything immediately, it did not mean that nothing had occurred. I emphasized that if they believed nothing had happened, then indeed, nothing had taken place. However, if they believed that something had been set in motion, then progress would follow. In the book of Mark, chapter 11, Jesus addressed a fig tree, but nothing happened at that moment. The following day, as they passed by the same spot, the disciples noticed that the fig tree had withered. The process of withering had begun the day before, but the visible manifestation occurred the next day.

Some individuals expect instant results to believe that a change has occurred. However, there are cases where even if something happens instantly, doubts may still linger, leading to the loss of the blessing. Consider an organ in the body that has started functioning but has not reached its full potential. By continuing to exercise faith, one can witness God perfecting what He has initiated. The story of the wedding at Cana in Galilee serves as a reminder of this principle. Jesus instructed the servants to fill the water pots with water, and when they served it to the master of the feast, the water had turned into wine. Jesus did not taste the water to confirm its transformation; it was the faith of the servants that led to the miracle.

Some individuals struggle with their faith, desiring to see everything perfected before believing. However, Jesus praised those who believed without seeing, like doubting Thomas. As we enter this new season, may our faith be strengthened and elevated to new heights. Just as the disciples witnessed the transformation of water into wine without tasting it, may we trust in the unseen and believe that God will bring to completion what He has started. Let us embrace this season with faith and expectation, knowing that God’s blessings are not always immediately visible but are unfolding gradually as we continue to trust in Him.

The Almighty Healer, Jehovah Rapha, is present among us today. We are gathered here to witness and experience the miraculous healing power of God. As we embark on this journey of healing, it is essential for each individual to actively participate and engage in the process. Do not merely observe from the sidelines, but open your heart and allow the divine healing energy to permeate every aspect of your being. God’s healing touch is not limited to physical ailments; it extends to all areas of your life that are in need of restoration.

As we conclude this message and series, it is crucial to fully immerse yourself in the transformative power of God’s healing grace. This is a moment of divine intervention, a time when God is initiating a process of restoration in your life. Embrace this opportunity for renewal and healing, for it marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with blessings and miracles. The healing that you experience today will continue to manifest throughout the coming days, weeks, and months. Allow God’s healing light to shine upon you and bring forth a profound sense of wholeness and well-being.

Remember, the healing power of God transcends physical ailments and extends to emotional, spiritual, and relational wounds. Just as the woman with the issue of blood and the man at the pool of Bethesda experienced miraculous healing, so too can you receive divine restoration in every area of your life. Do not resign yourself to a life of suffering or accept your current circumstances as permanent. God’s healing touch is available to all who seek it with faith and perseverance. Let go of doubt and embrace the promise of healing that God has in store for you.

In the fifth chapter of the Gospel of John, there is a story about a man who had been lying by the pool of Bethesda for 38 years. When Jesus approached him and asked if he wanted to be healed, the man responded by saying that he had no one to help him into the pool when the water was stirred up. He mentioned that others always got in before him, making excuses for why he had not been healed yet. This man’s lack of faith and belief in the power of Jesus was evident in his response.

The man seemed to have a misconception that only a pastor or someone with great power could heal him, not realizing that it was his own faith that needed to be exercised. Jesus, being the ultimate healer, was standing right in front of him, yet the man failed to recognize this and continued to make excuses. Jesus, seeing the man’s lack of faith, simply commanded him to stand up, take his bed, and walk. This shows that it is not about who lays hands on you, but rather about your own faith and belief in the healing power of Jesus.

As the story unfolds, Jesus demonstrates that it is not about elaborate rituals or waiting for a specific moment, but about having faith and believing in the healing power of God. He showed that healing comes from within, from one’s own faith and belief in God’s ability to restore and heal. The man at the pool of Bethesda missed out on his healing because of his lack of faith and reliance on external factors. This serves as a lesson for all of us to trust in God’s power and have unwavering faith in His ability to heal and restore us.

It is important for someone to comprehend that God has initiated a process in your life, as we discussed last Sunday. We focused on Jehovah Rapha, our healer, and emphasized the need to desire healing and receive it by faith. It is crucial to understand that Jesus paid the price for our healing on the cross of Calvary, taking our sins and sicknesses upon his own body. The name of Jesus holds the power of healing, and God has released this power into our gathering and upon our lives. God has made provision for us to be healed and to bring healing to our world.

Let’s take a look at Mark 16 for a moment. Jesus said that those who believe in his name will cast out demons, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. This scripture emphasizes the power and authority that believers have in the name of Jesus. It is important to personalize this truth and understand that we are carriers of God’s healing power. We are not just seeking healing, but we are healed and can dispense the life of God to others. As Jesus said in John 10:10, he came to give us life in abundance, and one of the evidences of having abundance is the ability to give some away without feeling any lack.

Therefore, it is essential to recognize that we are not just the sick seeking healing, but we are the healed who can bring healing to others. We should feel free to lay hands on others and release God’s healing power through us. This is a powerful truth that we need to internalize and live out in our daily lives. As we understand and embrace this truth, we can walk in the fullness of God’s healing power and be a blessing to those around us.

I am currently speaking over you, declaring that whatever you set your hands to do will prosper and recover. I am affirming that things will turn around for the better in your life. I am declaring this in the name of Jesus, thanking the Father for His blessings. It is crucial that we pay close attention to the importance of desiring healing and receiving it through faith. This emphasis on desiring healing and receiving it through faith is highlighted in the story of the woman of Canaan in the book of Matthew, chapter fifteen.

In the story, the woman of Canaan sought healing for her daughter and persisted in her pursuit to meet Jesus. Despite facing challenges and obstacles, she did not give up. She approached Jesus, acknowledging Him as the Son of David and pleading for mercy. This woman’s determination and unwavering faith serve as a powerful example for us all. It is essential not to settle for the status quo or become complacent with our circumstances. We must not grow accustomed to the very things that God desires to transform and restore in our lives.

The key takeaway from this narrative is the woman’s persistence and unwavering faith in the face of adversity. She was not deterred by the initial response she received from Jesus but continued to press in for healing. Her boldness and determination paid off, as Jesus acknowledged her faith and granted her request. This serves as a reminder for us to remain steadfast in our faith, to desire healing, and to trust in God’s transformative power. Let us not become complacent or accepting of situations that God intends to change. Instead, let us press in with faith and persistence, believing that healing and restoration are within reach.

Jesus was not merely insulting her; he was testing her faith, and what he said was true. He stated that he was sent only to the lost sheep of the household of Israel, indicating that his outreach was intended for the Jews. It was after his resurrection that he declared, “You shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” However, Jesus did not personally go to all these places; it was the disciples who were tasked with spreading the Gospels to everyone. Despite this, the woman pressed in before her time and demonstrated unwavering faith, prompting Jesus to acknowledge her perseverance.

The message emphasizes the importance of choosing life over death and blessing over cursing. It encourages listeners to press into their healing, restoration, and redemption, emphasizing that life is a choice. The speaker urges the audience to reject any spirit of suicide or death and declare their choice for life. The repeated emphasis on choosing life underscores the significance of this decision and the need to make it known to the devil.

During the previous service, I recounted a story from the fifth year of my marriage when my wife and I had a heated argument. Despite not resorting to physical violence, we exchanged harsh words. However, we both ended up in tears and made a conscious decision to choose life for our marriage. This choice, made 15 years ago, has since multiplied and brought blessings into our lives.

The message I want to convey is that life is a choice. Whether it’s in your health, relationships, or business endeavors, you have the power to choose life. Just like Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones, you can speak life into any situation. God is always ready to support us when we make the choice to speak life, so I encourage you to choose life today and witness the positive changes that will follow.

Concluding this, it’s important to understand that healing is ministered through the laying on of hands, as mentioned in Mark 16:18 and James 5:14-15. This act is a fundamental precept in the Christian faith, leading to the transfer of Grace, wisdom, spiritual authority, and diverse kinds of empowerment.

As we lay hands and anoint people with oil, there will be a recovery and a raising back to life. Closed destinies will become open in the name of Jesus. It’s crucial to remember that God expects corresponding action to validate our faith, as faith without corresponding action is dead.

Life is transformed and transferred through the laying on of hands, and it’s essential to understand the significance of this act in the Christian faith.

As we move forward, let’s remember the importance of faith accompanied by corresponding action, as it is crucial in our journey of faith.

It is important to remember that we cannot rely solely on God for our restoration, healing, and redemption. God may guide us towards specific actions that we need to align ourselves with. In Genesis 17, God demanded certain corresponding actions from Abraham, such as changing his name from Abram to Abraham. Despite not yet having a child, God assured Abraham that he would be a father of many nations and exceedingly fruitful. This serves as a reminder that sometimes, God may prompt us to take corresponding actions that are essential for our journey.

Abraham’s story in Genesis 17 highlights the importance of aligning with the corresponding actions that God demands of us. Despite not seeing immediate results, Abraham followed through with the actions required of him. This included changing his name as a sign of the covenant that God had made with him. It is a powerful example of how aligning with God’s corresponding actions, even when they may seem unconventional, can lead to fulfillment of promises in due time.

The story of Abraham in Genesis 17 serves as a reminder that God’s corresponding actions may not always align with our expectations. Despite not having a child, Abraham was asked to change his name as a sign of the covenant. This demonstrates the importance of humbling ourselves and aligning with the necessary corresponding actions that God prompts us to take, even if they may seem unconventional or challenging. Just as Abraham’s obedience led to the fulfillment of God’s promises, aligning with God’s corresponding actions can lead to the realization of His plans for us.

In Romans 4:18, the writer discusses Abraham’s unwavering faith and how he became the father of many nations. Despite the seemingly hopeless situation, Abraham believed in hope and took corresponding actions, even changing his name as spoken by God. This demonstrates the power of faith and the importance of aligning one’s confession with God’s promises.

Verse 19 emphasizes that Abraham did not waver in faith, even when faced with the physical limitations of his age and Sarah’s womb. This serves as a reminder to remain steadfast in faith and not be swayed by doubt or unbelief. It encourages believers to trust in God’s promises and remain stable in their hearts, knowing that God’s word will come to pass.

The passage concludes by highlighting the importance of corresponding actions, such as changing one’s confession and expressing gratitude. It emphasizes the significance of giving glory to God and being fully convinced of His ability to fulfill His promises. This serves as a reminder to align one’s words and actions with God’s truth, and to maintain an attitude of gratitude even in the face of delays or challenges.

Isaiah 54 verse 1 instructs the barren to sing, indicating that there is a corresponding action to one’s faith. This action may be divinely inspired, such as sowing a seed, buying a gift for someone, or visiting someone. It is important to avoid trying to program God for a miracle and instead allow God to guide and direct the corresponding action needed for the situation.

The story of Namaan illustrates the danger of trying to dictate to God how a miracle should occur. Namaan became furious when Elisha instructed him to wash in the Jordan seven times, as it did not align with his expectations. It is crucial to be open to the corresponding action that God may require, rather than trying to impose our own ideas on how a miracle should unfold.

Allowing God to give us a corresponding action for our situation requires humility and trust in His guidance.

Instead of trying to control the outcome, we should be open to receiving divine inspiration and following the actions that God directs us to take. This approach aligns our faith with God’s will and allows Him to work in our lives according to His plan.

In Luke 17, Jesus healed a group of lepers by instructing them to show themselves to the priest without praying for them. This act was significant because in the book of Leviticus, it was the priest’s role to examine lepers after their recovery and allow them to rejoin society. By telling the lepers to go to the priest, Jesus was essentially declaring them healed and ready to reintegrate into society.

The lepers’ faith was demonstrated by their obedience to Jesus’ command to go to the priest. Their corresponding action of going resulted in their cleansing. This story highlights the importance of taking corresponding actions in response to God’s word in order to experience transformation in our lives. Sometimes, these actions may require a change in lifestyle or a humbling of oneself to obey God’s instructions.

Just as weaning a child from breast milk can be challenging but necessary for growth, obeying God’s instructions and taking corresponding actions may be difficult but ultimately lead to positive change. It is essential to identify and follow through with these actions, even if they seem unconventional or challenging, in order to experience the transformation and blessings that God has in store for us.

A few years ago, I recall playing golf at the Ikoyi club with a member of the church. During our conversation, he mentioned that he had celebrated 10 years of abstaining from soda or any carbonated drinks. This revelation made me reflect on my own choices, as I realized that I had also been soda-free for about three years. I made this decision not because of any external pressure, but simply because I wanted to prioritize my health and well-being.

I am not in the business of promoting or selling these drinks, and I have chosen to live a life free from their consumption. While I understand that this may not be the case for everyone, I have personally found it to be a positive change. I believe that making this choice has been beneficial for me, and I am content with my decision.
