SHAPING EVENTS

The concept of “Shaping Events” invites us to reflect on the significant occurrences in our lives that have influenced our development and growth. It is essential to engage those around you in this discussion, prompting them to share their own memories of such events. As we embark on this morning’s discourse, I feel compelled to emphasize the importance of understanding why I am addressing this topic. Life is filled with various events and activities that we encounter, not merely by chance, but through a divine orchestration. The scripture from Romans 8:28 reminds us that “all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” This passage does not imply that only positive experiences shape us; rather, it acknowledges that even challenging and undesirable situations can serve a purpose, often testing and strengthening our faith.

In the context of our series titled “Greater Faith,” it is crucial to recognize that the journey toward a deeper faith will inevitably involve shaping events. The book of James, particularly verses 2-4 in The Message Translation, encourages us to view tests and challenges as opportunities for growth. It states that we should consider it a gift when faced with trials, as these experiences reveal the true nature of our faith. Under pressure, our faith is brought to the forefront, allowing us to assess its depth and resilience. The passage further advises against seeking to escape these challenges prematurely, as they are integral to our spiritual development. While we have recently celebrated the Accelerate Conference and anticipated changes in our lives, it is vital to acknowledge that these shaping events are part of the transformative process that leads us to greater faith.

The phases of life can vary significantly from one individual to another, often leading to feelings of envy or discontent.

For instance, while one person may be experiencing the vibrancy and warmth of summer, filled with opportunities and rapid developments, another may find themselves in the cold, stark reality of winter, longing for the brightness and activity that seems to surround their counterpart. This disparity can be particularly pronounced among friends, especially those who are single and may feel overlooked or unappreciated while witnessing others swiftly enter relationships. In such moments, it is crucial to remember that the Bible advises against rushing through these challenging seasons. Instead, it encourages individuals to embrace their current circumstances, allowing them to cultivate patience and resilience, ultimately leading to personal growth and maturity.

Moreover, the essence of faith extends beyond merely receiving blessings or gifts from God. While many may anticipate special favors during significant times, such as birthdays, it is essential to recognize that true faith is often tested through trials and tribulations. These challenges serve not only to strengthen one’s belief but also to elevate it to new heights. The scripture from James 1:4 emphasizes the importance of allowing patience to fulfill its purpose, resulting in a state of completeness and lack of deficiency. Thus, great faith is characterized not solely by the abundance of good fortune but also by the ability to trust in God amidst adversity, ultimately leading to a deeper and more profound expression of one’s faith.

Shaping events are significant experiences that individuals encounter, which serve to test and strengthen their faith. These trials and tribulations are not merely obstacles; rather, they are opportunities for personal growth and spiritual development. As we navigate through these challenges, our faith is brought to the forefront, revealing its true essence. The manner in which we respond to adversity is indicative of our spiritual resilience and commitment. Such experiences compel us to confront our beliefs and demonstrate how we uphold them in the face of difficulties. The trials we endure can serve as a crucible, refining our faith much like precious metals are purified through fire.

Throughout one’s life, there are numerous occasions to face these shaping events, which can lead to profound insights about the nature of faith. The New King James Version of the Bible emphasizes this concept, stating that while we may experience grief from various trials, the authenticity of our faith is far more valuable than gold, which is subject to decay. This passage highlights that the testing of our faith, akin to the refining process of metals, ultimately results in praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. It is essential to recognize that these shaping events are not intended for our destruction; rather, they are designed to elevate our faith and enable us to bring glory to God. As we endure these challenges, we can emerge with a stronger, more resilient faith, ready to honor and praise Him through our experiences.

Approximately a decade ago, I experienced a significant and transformative event within my family that has remained etched in my memory. This June marks the tenth anniversary of that incident, which was undeniably tragic. A few years prior, my wife and I had invested in a beautiful home located on the Mainland of Lagos, where I was serving as an Associate Pastor at Daystar Christian Centre, our home church. With God’s blessings, we secured a mortgage for this lovely house, where we lived with our children. However, the inception of The Elevation Church brought about a drastic change in our financial circumstances. For several months, I found myself without a source of income, particularly six months after departing from Daystar, while still being obligated to meet our mortgage payments. The financial burden fell heavily on my wife, as the church was unable to provide any remuneration that could cover our living expenses. This house, which we cherished deeply, required immense faith and commitment to maintain.

On or around June 11th, I concluded my preaching duties at the initial location of The Elevation Church, situated at Magnolia Hall on Lagos Island. As I drove home across the Third Mainland Bridge, a familiar route for many, I noticed an unusual rise in the water level, which appeared brownish and alarming. After arriving home, I momentarily dismissed the concern, enjoying lunch and taking a nap, unaware that the rain, which had persisted throughout the day, was causing significant issues. Around 6 PM, I was awakened to the distressing news that our guest room on the ground floor was beginning to flood, with water seeping in from an unknown source. It became evident that our estate was experiencing severe flooding due to the relentless rain over several days, compounded by a malfunctioning drainage system. Before long, the water began to infiltrate our home, marking the beginning of a challenging ordeal.

Residents of Lagos, Nigeria, can relate to the distressing experience of severe flooding, particularly when it affects one’s home. In my case, the ground floor of my house was inundated almost to the lintel level, rendering it uninhabitable. At that time, I had recently embarked on a new journey by establishing The Elevation Church, driven by a sense of divine purpose. Faced with mounting bills and the weight of financial responsibilities, I found myself grappling with feelings of despair. I questioned whether these challenges were a test of my faith or a sign of impending ruin, especially as I had invested my life savings into this property. The burden of maintaining my mortgage while ensuring my family’s well-being felt overwhelming, particularly when the very foundation of my efforts seemed to be slipping away.

Fortunately, during this tumultuous period, the leadership at The Elevation Church extended their support, providing us with shelter and assistance. This experience, while fraught with difficulties, ultimately led to a turning point in our lives. As time passed, we managed to restore our home and, through divine providence, were able to pay off our mortgage a few years later. Such trials often prompt us to question our faith, even when we know that the scriptures affirm God’s unwavering faithfulness. Life’s unpredictable events can challenge our understanding and provoke inquiries that we might feel are inappropriate. However, it is essential to recognize that these moments serve a greater purpose; they test our character, which holds more significance in God’s eyes than the material requests we present to Him.

It is essential for each of us to recognize that there are moments when our fervent prayers and requests to God may not yield the immediate results we desire. This situation prompts a critical examination of our character and faith. Will the challenges we face lead us to act contrary to our beliefs, or will we maintain our trust in God despite the circumstances? Personally, I found myself grappling with the question of whether my relationship with God would hinge solely on the state of my home, which appeared to be in ruins, leaving me with a sense of abandonment. I vividly recall the day when my two young daughters had to be carried away from our home using a ladder, a moment that underscored the fragility of our situation. The experience of packing up my belongings from a job I once cherished, only to leave it behind, mirrored the emotional turmoil of losing a cherished relationship or a significant investment. Each of these events serves as a reminder that God may allow trials to test our capacity for faith.

In the context of faith development, these shaping events play a pivotal role. The Bible is replete with examples of individuals who faced significant challenges that ultimately shaped their faith. Consider Daniel, who was cast into the lion’s den, a harrowing experience that tested his resolve and trust in God. Similarly, the story of Mary, who received the unexpected news of her divine pregnancy from an angel, illustrates how unanticipated events can alter the course of one’s life and faith journey. These narratives highlight that while we may not always understand the reasons behind our struggles, they are often instrumental in deepening our faith and resilience. The overarching theme of greater faith emerges from these experiences, emphasizing that our trials are not merely obstacles but opportunities for spiritual growth and transformation.

The narrative of Mary and the challenges she faced upon receiving the child Jesus evokes profound contemplation regarding the emotional turmoil she must have experienced. The sudden shift from divine blessing to perilous circumstances, where she found herself fleeing to Egypt amidst chaos, raises questions about the nature of faith and divine purpose. It is not uncommon for individuals to feel overwhelmed by the weight of their destinies, questioning the very path they are on, especially when adversity seems relentless. This sense of confusion and struggle is often a precursor to significant spiritual growth, as it compels one to confront their beliefs and resilience. The trials faced can serve as a crucible for character development, allowing patience and faith to flourish, ultimately leading to a state of completeness and fulfillment.

In examining the life of Joseph, the son of Jacob, we can identify key characteristics of shaping events that resonate with the experiences of many. Joseph, often referred to as the Dreamer, encountered numerous trials that tested his faith and resolve. His journey from a favored son to a slave and then to a prisoner illustrates the stark contrast between his initial confidence and the despair he faced. The vision he received, which foretold his future influence and authority, stood in stark opposition to his immediate reality of imprisonment. This juxtaposition highlights how shaping events can create opportunities for doubt and challenge one’s faith, yet they also serve to refine and strengthen one’s character. Just as Job exemplified unwavering faith in the face of devastating loss, Joseph’s story reminds us that adversity can be a powerful catalyst for spiritual growth and transformation.

The transition from one state of being to another can often be marked by significant shaping events, as illustrated in the life of Joseph. It is essential for individuals experiencing such transformative moments to recognize that they are not isolated in their struggles; many have faced similar challenges throughout history. In Genesis 37, we encounter Joseph, who, after sharing his divine vision, finds himself the target of envy from his brothers, as noted in verse 11. This envy sets the stage for a series of pivotal events, culminating in his brothers stripping him of his multicolored tunic and casting him into an empty pit, as described in verse 23. This tunic, a symbol of his status and identity, is taken from him, marking the beginning of his trials.

The act of having something so significant removed can lead to profound feelings of loss and despair. The multicolored coat, representing joy, respect, and a certain social standing, is replaced by the stark reality of a dry pit, which serves as a metaphor for depression, anguish, and anxiety. Joseph’s descent into this pit can be likened to the experiences of many who find themselves in dire circumstances, whether it be the end of a marriage, the loss of a relationship, or financial ruin. The emotional turmoil that accompanies such losses can feel overwhelming, as if one is destined to languish in despair. However, it is crucial to remember that, like Joseph, there may be a greater plan at work, one that can lead to eventual redemption and purpose beyond the immediate suffering.

It is essential to recognize that divine providence often unfolds in ways that may initially seem perplexing. When one places their trust in God, particularly during challenging times, such as traversing through a metaphorical dry pit, it is crucial to maintain unwavering faith. This steadfastness is not merely a passive state but an active engagement with the belief that something transformative is on the horizon. The scripture reminds us of Abraham’s unwavering faith as depicted in Romans chapter 4; he did not falter in his belief in God’s promises, despite the seemingly insurmountable obstacles he faced, including his own age and the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. His trust in the faithfulness of the One who called him serves as a powerful testament to the potential for divine intervention in our lives when we remain resolute in our faith.

Moreover, shaping events in our lives often present challenges that can lead to doubt and uncertainty.

For instance, Joseph’s journey from the pit to Potiphar’s house illustrates how circumstances can shift dramatically, often accompanied by trials that test our faith. Despite the adversities he faced, including wrongful imprisonment due to the actions of Potiphar’s wife, the scripture assures us that the Lord was with him, causing him to prosper even in dire situations. These shaping events can serve as catalysts for growth, compelling us to confront contrary evidence to God’s promises. It is during these times that our faith may be shaken, yet it is also an opportunity to reaffirm our trust in God’s word, knowing that His plans for us are ultimately for our good, even when the path appears fraught with challenges.

Joseph’s circumstances experienced a brief period of improvement while he was in Egypt, leading him to believe that his situation was stabilizing. However, this sense of security was short-lived, as he soon faced further adversity. To truly understand Joseph’s plight, one must delve into the narrative of his life, particularly the moment he was betrayed by his brothers and subsequently sold into slavery. Upon arriving at Potiphar’s household, one can only imagine the tumult of emotions and thoughts racing through his mind. The biblical account in Genesis 39 reveals that Joseph was sold to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, who recognized that the Lord was with Joseph. This divine presence led to Joseph’s success in his master’s house, where everything he undertook prospered. It appeared as though God’s promises were beginning to manifest in Joseph’s life, as he found himself in the service of a benevolent master, which must have instilled a sense of hope within him.

Despite the apparent blessings, Joseph’s heart likely remained heavy with longing for his family and a desire for freedom. He may have prayed fervently, invoking the names of the patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—pleading for divine intervention that would allow him to return home or establish his own life. Yet, just as he began to find stability, another significant trial emerged, illustrating the unpredictable nature of life. It is essential to recognize that such shaping events often occur without any wrongdoing on one’s part; in fact, they can arise when one is striving to live righteously. The biblical principle that those who pursue righteousness will face persecution underscores this reality. As articulated in James 1, believers are encouraged to find joy in the face of various trials, as these challenges serve to refine faith and cultivate patience, ultimately leading to spiritual growth and resilience.

In the narrative of Joseph’s life, as depicted in the Bible, we observe a significant turning point when Potiphar’s wife began to desire him, leading to dire consequences. According to Genesis 39:20, Joseph’s master, Potiphar, ultimately imprisoned him in a facility designated for the king’s prisoners. Despite this unfortunate turn of events, the scripture reassures us that the Lord remained with Joseph, extending His mercy and favor, particularly in the eyes of the prison keeper. This highlights a profound truth: even in the midst of trials and tribulations, divine presence can manifest in unexpected ways, providing comfort and support during challenging times.

It is essential to recognize that shaping events, which may appear negative or contrary to our expectations, do not negate the presence of God in our lives. Rather, they can serve as opportunities for spiritual growth and the strengthening of faith. When faced with adversity, one must discern whether the situation is a divine shaping event meant to build resilience or a circumstance that requires immediate action to reclaim authority over one’s life. For instance, in the case of illness, one should actively resist and confront the affliction, while other trials may necessitate a patient journey through hardship. Ultimately, as Joseph’s experiences illustrate, navigating these shaping events can lead to a deeper understanding of God’s plan, albeit with an awareness of the uncertainty that often accompanies such journeys.

Experiencing the confines of comfort can often lead to unforeseen complications, as was the case in my past. In Potiphar’s household, circumstances initially appeared favorable; however, the situation took a drastic turn when I found myself imprisoned. Yet, even in that bleak environment, the presence of God remained evident, serving as a pivotal moment for personal development. While Potiphar’s house was a training ground for leadership and management skills, the prison became a crucible for cultivating the abilities of dream interpretation, empathy, and a genuine love for others. Each transformative experience is designed to activate specific aspects of our character, and for those undergoing marital challenges, it may be that God is seeking to instill the fruits of the Spirit—such as love and joy—within you, fostering patience and resilience in the face of adversity.

Shaping events often present challenges that seem to contradict the promises of God, leading to feelings of disappointment and the temptation to harbor bitterness. For individuals who identify with the struggles of Joseph, the journey toward forgiveness can feel insurmountable, particularly when past grievances linger. Many may find themselves clinging to resentments from years gone by, whether due to perceived neglect during difficult times or a lack of support from those around them. It is essential to recognize that today marks a new beginning; by placing trust in the Holy Spirit, one can find the grace to release past wrongs and move forward. When it feels as though you have been overlooked, remember that such moments can serve as opportunities to deepen your trust in God, who remains steadfast even when others may falter. Embrace this chance for renewal and growth, and allow yourself to be uplifted by divine grace.

Joseph’s life was marked by a series of significant and transformative events, particularly during his time in prison. After he interpreted the dreams of the butler and the baker, the outcomes were starkly different; the butler was reinstated to his former position, while the baker faced execution. Despite this, the butler neglected to remember Joseph for a full two years. Many individuals in similar circumstances might have succumbed to bitterness or resentment, yet Joseph demonstrated remarkable resilience and maintained a positive spirit throughout this challenging period. This experience serves as a reminder that discomfort and insecurity may only be temporary phases, as highlighted in Genesis 37:3, where it is noted that Israel favored Joseph, gifting him a richly ornamented tunic. However, this privilege was soon replaced by hardship, as Joseph transitioned from wearing a coat of many colors to donning the garments of a prisoner, illustrating the unpredictable nature of life’s shaping events.

In Romans 8:18, the Apostle Paul offers a profound perspective on suffering, asserting that the tribulations of the present are insignificant when compared to the glory that will ultimately be revealed within us. This understanding encourages believers to reassess their responses to shaping events. While some may choose to deny or reject these experiences, often invoking the name of Jesus, it is essential to recognize that such events can serve as critical opportunities for spiritual growth. The challenges faced may reveal weaknesses in faith that need to be addressed, prompting believers to develop a deeper reliance on God. Embracing these shaping events can lead to significant advancements in one’s faith journey, ultimately guiding individuals toward a more profound understanding of their spiritual path.

It is often the case that God desires for individuals to cultivate the fruits of His Spirit, as faith devoid of love lacks true substance. The ability to foster love within one’s heart is essential; without it, one’s faith may begin to wane, which is a fate one should strive to avoid. It is imperative for believers to affirm this truth, recognizing the importance of love as a foundational element of their faith journey. In light of this, it is crucial to consider how believers should respond to the shaping events that life presents. These events serve a purpose, and while I have shared personal experiences, the focus here is on the broader implications of such occurrences in the lives of believers.

Reflecting on my own journey, I recall a significant shaping event during my single years, where I was in a relationship for two to three years, spanning my final year at university and into my National Youth Service. Ultimately, the relationship ended unexpectedly, not due to any wrongdoing on my part, as I was already committed to my faith and integrity. At that time, I could not foresee the positive outcomes that would arise from this painful experience. Looking back over two decades, I recognize that walking away from that relationship, despite the heartache, was a pivotal moment that led me to my irreplaceable wife today. I often reflect on how different my life would be had I remained in that past relationship, and I am profoundly grateful for the path that God has laid out for me.

When faced with loss or adversity, it is essential to recognize that such experiences may serve a greater purpose in our lives. Often, when God removes something from our existence—be it a job, a relationship, or a resource—it can feel like a closed door. However, this closure may actually signify the opening of a new opportunity in the spiritual realm, leading us to a higher level of understanding and growth. Therefore, it is crucial to respond appropriately to these shaping events. One of the most vital responses is to seek God earnestly, allowing ourselves to gain divine perspective rather than retreating from Him.

Throughout the tumultuous year of 2020, marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals faced significant challenges, including the loss of loved ones and employment. Such hardships can understandably lead to feelings of confusion and doubt regarding faith. Some may have distanced themselves from spiritual practices, questioning why misfortunes befall good people. While these inquiries are valid, they should not drive us away from God or cause us to doubt His faithfulness. Instead, we should turn to Him for clarity and strength, as He is the ultimate source of perspective. As stated in Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” In His presence, we find the fortitude to navigate our trials, as illustrated in Psalm 105:16, where God orchestrated events to guide His people through famine, demonstrating His sovereign plan even in difficult times.

Joseph’s journey into slavery was marked by a series of profound questions and reflections. Despite the harsh reality of being sold, he maintained a connection with God that provided him with a unique perspective on his circumstances. Rather than viewing his sale as a mere misfortune, Joseph recognized it as a divine orchestration that led him to Potiphar’s house. This initial placement was not random; it was a necessary step that ultimately guided him to prison, where he could utilize his gift of dream interpretation. This sequence of events was crucial for his eventual rise to power in Pharaoh’s palace. One might wonder why Pharaoh could not simply dream of Joseph and summon him directly to become Prime Minister. However, such a scenario would have resulted in a leader lacking the character and faith essential for effective governance. Many individuals experience fleeting success without the foundational experiences that cultivate resilience, diligence, and moral integrity.

The shaping events in Joseph’s life were integral to his development and preparation for leadership. Had he bypassed these trials, he would have been ill-equipped to handle the responsibilities that awaited him in Pharaoh’s court. The time spent in prison was not merely punitive; it was a period of growth that allowed him to hone his abilities and deepen his relationship with God. The Bible illustrates this process, noting that Joseph endured physical and emotional hardships, with his feet bruised by shackles and his neck bound in irons, until the fulfillment of his prophetic dreams. This narrative serves as a reminder that avoiding difficult experiences can lead to a lack of preparedness for future challenges. It is essential to embrace these shaping events, as they are designed to equip us for our destinies and promote our growth.

The assurance that the word of the Lord will ultimately prove true is a profound truth that often requires patience and faith. There are moments in life when circumstances may seem contrary to our expectations, yet it is essential to remember that divine timing and understanding are beyond human comprehension. In times of uncertainty, it is crucial to seek God’s perspective, especially when faced with challenges that do not align with our desires. Questions may arise regarding the reasons behind a relationship’s end or the loss of a job, and while it is natural to seek answers, it is vital to approach these inquiries with a heart open to divine insight. Instead of questioning God, one should earnestly seek His guidance to gain clarity and understanding, as it is in His presence that true perspective can be found.

Maintaining the right perspective is essential to avoid feelings of bitterness or offense towards others or even towards God. The story of Joseph exemplifies this principle; despite the wrongs he suffered at the hands of his brothers and Potiphar’s wife, he chose forgiveness and reconciliation when he rose to power. His ability to overlook past grievances stemmed from a deeper understanding of God’s plan for his life. In moments of adversity, it is imperative to draw closer to God rather than retreating in fear or frustration. Just as one would seek the comfort and protection of a father when confronted by a bully, so too should we run towards God during life’s shaping events. It is crucial to uphold one’s values and seek divine strength, wisdom, and courage, as demonstrated by the apostles in Acts Chapter four, ensuring that faith remains steadfast in the face of trials.

When they were apprehended and faced threats, the scripture indicates that they returned to their fellow apostles, where they united in prayer. This illustrates the importance of seeking divine guidance, as only God can provide the necessary perspective in challenging times. It is essential to maintain a strong and nourished faith, especially during transformative experiences. The scripture reassures us that no temptation has overtaken us that is not common to humanity, and God remains faithful, ensuring that we are not tested beyond our capacity. With every trial, He provides a means of escape, enabling us to endure. Thus, it is crucial to cultivate a resilient faith that can withstand the adversities we encounter during these shaping events.

In 1 Samuel 17:37, David expresses his confidence in God’s deliverance, stating that the Lord who saved him from the lion and the bear would also protect him from Goliath. This moment was pivotal for David, marking a significant shaping event that would announce his presence to the world. His unwavering faith allowed him to confront the giant with assurance, reminding King Saul of God’s past faithfulness. David’s declaration serves as a powerful testament to the strength derived from a robust faith, which enables individuals to reflect on God’s previous interventions in their lives. Similarly, Joseph, having been delivered from the pit, could confidently assert that God would also rescue him from prison. This narrative underscores the importance of relying on God during trials, reinforcing the belief that a nourished faith can lead to divine intervention and support.

In times of adversity, it is essential to maintain a perspective that emphasizes hope and resilience rather than despair. Instead of succumbing to the notion that we are destined for failure, we must recognize that circumstances can improve and that positive outcomes are possible. The divine presence that has previously guided us through challenges will continue to provide support and opportunities. Just as one may lose a job or a relationship, it is crucial to trust that something better is on the horizon. This unwavering faith is a testament to our belief in a higher power that orchestrates our paths, reminding us that we can emerge from trials stronger and more equipped for future endeavors.

Moreover, it is vital to resist the urge to surrender during difficult times. The assurance that God remains steadfast in His commitment to us should inspire perseverance. The refrain of not giving up on God resonates deeply, serving as a reminder of His unwavering ability to fulfill His promises. In moments of struggle, we can draw strength from the examples of those who have faced similar challenges, such as Paul and Silas, who found solace in prayer and song even in the darkest hours. Their experience illustrates that faith can be a powerful catalyst for change, leading to unexpected breakthroughs. As we navigate our own shaping events, it is beneficial to seek out sources of encouragement and support from our community, allowing us to fortify our faith and resilience in the face of adversity.

If you are a member of The Elevation Church, I encourage you to reflect on your involvement in a small group or G-Squad. It is essential to be part of a community, whether it is your biological family, your spiritual family, or the various supportive groups that God places in your life. The Scriptures affirm that God places the solitary in families, ensuring that when individuals face challenging circumstances, they have a network of support to draw upon. This support is vital for both strength and grace during difficult times. Therefore, it is crucial to seek out those who can bolster your faith and to immerse yourself in the right community. In Acts 4:23, the Amplified Classic Translation recounts how the apostles, after enduring persecution, returned to their own company to share their experiences. This highlights the importance of having a supportive group to turn to in times of need.

It is important to recognize that circumstances such as working from home or recent lockdowns should not deter you from seeking community. Numerous online groups exist within The Elevation Church and beyond that can provide the encouragement and strength necessary to enhance your faith. Engaging in prayer of agreement and partaking in communion can serve as powerful means to gather strength and overcome feelings of despair. Remember that even in challenging times, it is vital to continue being a blessing to others. The examples of Job and Joseph illustrate that breakthroughs often come through acts of service and support for others. Shaping events should not lead to selfishness or indifference; rather, they are opportunities for growth and connection. God desires for you to emerge victorious from these trials, transforming your faith into glory and honor.
