Even for those who have been actively involved, I pose a critical inquiry: what constitutes an appropriate reaction to a God who has demonstrated remarkable greatness? What should be our response to a father who has shown incredible kindness and unwavering support? Furthermore, how do we acknowledge a God who consistently fulfills our needs at every juncture? These questions are essential as they guide us in understanding our relationship with the divine.
To illustrate my point, consider the experience of receiving assistance from others, particularly in the context of education. Many individuals have benefited from the generosity of others, such as receiving scholarships that enable them to pursue their academic goals. In our church community, we have established a scholarship program that allows members to support students in their educational endeavors. However, it is important to recognize that not all beneficiaries maintain a connection with their benefactors. Imagine a scenario where a former scholarship recipient encounters their benefactor unexpectedly at an airport. This moment presents an opportunity for reflection on the appropriate response to such an act of kindness.
In this hypothetical situation, if the recipient, whom we will refer to as Ade, recognizes the individual who provided financial support for their education, the expected response should reflect gratitude and respect. In many cultures, including my own, it is customary to express appreciation in a humble manner. Ade should instinctively acknowledge the benefactor’s role in shaping their future by offering a sincere gesture of thanks, such as bowing or verbally expressing gratitude. Regardless of Ade’s background or current status, it is essential to honor the individual who played a pivotal role in their journey, as this act of recognition is a fundamental aspect of human decency and respect for those who have made significant sacrifices for others.

What is the suitable acknowledgment for the God who has ensured the stability of your business? It is evident that many individuals exert considerable effort in their professional endeavors, often bolstered by the encouragement and teachings received within this community. Despite their diligence, some find themselves in precarious situations where their companies falter, not due to a lack of effort on their part, but rather because of broader industry challenges. In contrast, your workplace remains intact, a testament to divine intervention that has preserved your sector, highlighting the significance of recognizing and responding to such grace.
The act of praise emerges as the most appropriate response when one is confronted with the overwhelming greatness and kindness of a higher power.
Praise serves not only as an expression of gratitude but also as a declaration to adversarial forces that one’s outlook has shifted.
While external circumstances may remain unchanged, a transformation in perspective can alter one’s experience of those circumstances. This principle is exemplified in the moment when Jesus prepared to feed the multitude of 5,000; He lifted the bread and offered thanks, fully aware that the natural resources at hand seemed insufficient. Consequently, the decision was made to refrain from bringing the Ark into their vicinity, leading to its temporary relocation to the house of Obed-Edom. Just as Obed-Edom experienced divine acceleration and multiplication, so too shall you witness extraordinary blessings in the second half of this year. These blessings will be so abundant that they will extend beyond your individual experience, impacting every member of your household. It is a promise that your friends will not need to inquire about the evidence of God’s favor in your life; rather, they will witness it firsthand, as the blessings will be unmistakably evident.
Prepare your heart, for a level of divine provision is on the horizon that will surpass your expectations and will be a testament to God’s goodness in your life.
